Carbon Action report shows Dixon leading the way in Sustainable Logistics


Significant Emissions Reductions

Dixon continues to make substantial strides in reducing its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. From 2018 to 2023, the company achieved a significant reduction in emissions, reflecting its commitment to sustainability. This reduction was driven by the adoption of more efficient technologies and the transition to cleaner energy sources. 

Adoption of Electric and Bio-GNG Vehicles
In a major step towards reducing its carbon footprint, Dixon invested in electric and bio-GNG powered trucks. An independent study has shown the true extent to which bio-GNG powered and electric-powered trucks are less emissions intensive than traditional fuel sources. Dixon plans to continue to add these fuel efficient vehicles to the fleet to further reduce its carbon footprint as part of its Net Zero Strategy.

Through the adoption of fleet tracking technology and the addition of more fuel efficient vehicles to the fleet, there has been a 49% reduction in emissions per kilometre driven.

State-of-the-Art Solar-Powered Warehouse
An independent third-party study has estimated that the installation of the new 760 KW solar array on the new automated warehouse has the potential to offset 526 tonnes of CO2e by replacing electricity from the grid with clean sustainable solar power Through the adoption of fleet tracking technology and the addition of more fuel efficient vehicles to the fleet, there has been a 49% reduction in emissions per kilometre driven.
