International Transport Planner

Dixon Transport is a leading logistics company specializing in reliable, high-quality transport solutions across Europe. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced International Transport Planner to join our dynamic team at our St. Margaret’s headquarters, close to Dublin Airport.
Position Overview:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for planning and coordinating the international movement of our fleet, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and exceptional service standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional with hands-on experience in fleet management and an in-depth knowledge of logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage transport plans for our international fleet, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
- Coordinate and monitor customs procedures for seamless cross-border operations
- Oversee temperature-controlled shipments and adhere to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards, especially for sensitive and high-value cargo
- Work collaboratively with drivers, clients, and internal teams to resolve any logistical issues as they arise
- Maintain detailed records, ensuring compliance with all transport regulations
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in managing your own fleet, with a strong understanding of fleet operations and transport planning
- In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, temperature-controlled logistics, and GDP compliance
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing schedules
